Budapest Zoo and botanical garden
The Budapest Zoo, built in 1866, is the oldest and largest zoo park of Hungary. Until the 1950-s, it was the only zoo park in Hungary.
Its 11-hectare territory has been declared a natural preserve area in 1986.

How to get to the Zoo?
Take the yellow underground (M1) until stop: Széchenyi Fürdő (=Széchenyi Thermal Bath).
Take the red colored trolley-bus No. 72 until stop: Állatkert (=Zoo),or the red colored trolley-bus No. 75, 79 until stop: Állatkert (=Zoo)
Take the blue colored bus No. 20E, 30, 30A, 105 until stop: Hősök tere (=Heroes’ Square)
